I welcome you to the Digital Library of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti. The Library was established simultaneously with all the other academic departments at Akure in January 1978. It moved from Akure with all other departments to the present Polytechnic permanent site at Ado‑Ekiti in 1983. The Library finally moved from its old temporary building near Abuja male hostel to its new permanent building on 1st April, 2010. The building is located opposite Conference Centre of the Polytechnic, along the School of Engineering road. This new library is very spacious, well ventilated and it can accommodate over one thousand users at a time.

This OPAC application is design for Federal Polytechnics, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, as an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). OPAC is one of the library efficient tools which patrons can use to access library information online through website of mobile application. This software uses KOHA library synchronization to update library information and iBrilliants Educational resources tools to update news, tutorials and quiz activities. This application is available for 24 hours in all days for readers who want to make use of it for reading purposes only.

Students and other library patrons are to use this application for school library activities only. Visitors who have interest in accessing the contents of the school library should register through the following link http://www.fedpolyado.edu.ng/library/ , pay library due and obtain library IDCARD from the library.

a. Monday‑Friday ‑ 9.00 am ‑ 8.00 pm
b. Saturdays ‑ 9.00 am ‑ 8.00 pm

d. During Holidays ‑ 9.00 am. ‑ 4.00 pm
e. The library closes for all official public holidays .
