Audiovisual stimulation is a method of targeted influence on the biorhythmological activity of the brain in order to enhance the natural rhythms responsible for the healthy functioning of the body.

A feature of audiovisual stimulation is a non-contact effect on the auditory and visual analyzer in the range of visible light and human-audible sound. In other words, the audiovisual stimulation session is immersion in a specially organized light and sound environment.

The study of the wave activity of the brain in everyday life made it possible to establish that stress, negative emotions, increased tension lead to the fact that the alpha rhythm is significantly reduced, depriving a person of blissful moments of relaxation and inner rest. When the destructive influence of negative experiences is especially great, then the beta-rhythm of intellectual activity decreases, and a person "becomes stupid before our eyes."

Scientists began to ask the question: is the change in the rhythmological activity of the brain a simple reflection of the processes taking place in the psyche, or are the rhythms themselves supporting and strengthening a certain state of a person?

The answer was the results of many years of neurophysiological research on the effects of rhythmic light stimulation, published in 1957 by William Grey Walter and his colleagues. Scientists found that when observing the flickering light, the electrical activity of the brain begins to synchronize with it and repeats the frequency of the stimulation signal, while the psychophysiological state of the person changes.

The method of audiovisual stimulation began to be actively used in psychotherapy.

Thanks to modern technology, researchers went a little further and came to the conclusion that, in addition to the pulsation of light, the combination of certain colors that a person sees can also play an important role, especially when these color schemes are created from the sound composition itself. Modern programs are able to determine the color of each individual sound and make bizarre combinations of them that can affect our state of mind, mood, sleep, rest and concentration. These color abstractions, combined with certain sounds and 3D format, actively immerse a person in this new special environment. The brain begins to work at a special level. It is fully involves in the pulsating color abstraction and accepts it. The critical defense of consciousness is removed and access to the subconscious is opened. The neurons of the brain are learning to resist stress and stressful situations in new ways, as well as to activate new abilities and abilities of a person.

The use of audiovisual stimulation sessions makes it easier to work through stressful experiences.

Audiovisual stimulation is an opportunity to change the biorhythmological activity of your brain, while increasing your resistance to negative influences from the outside, be it an evil word or a fair reprimand at work. It becomes a real path to freedom of emotional response to a stressful situation. Negative emotions simply do not take root in a person using audio-visual stimulation with an alpha rhythm frequency - there is no suitable biorhythmological ground for them.

Audio-visual stimulation at the frequency of alpha and theta rhythms also promotes the production of endorphins. Moreover, if you have a well-formed healthy alpha rhythm in his head, a person begins to enjoy such simple life situations that he did not even notice before - the first drops of rain, a fleeting smile of an unknown passer-by, the familiar smell of his house.

Gradually, during audiovisual stimulation sessions, a person trains the neurons of his brain to maintain the desired rhythm for a long time. Audiovisual stimulation is becoming a brain gym. A person who has completed a course of audiovisual stimulation becomes stronger and more capable at a deep neuronal level.
