The Mahabharata is a major poetry of Hindus, which falls in the history category of Smriti. Sometimes it is simply called India. This poem is unique religious, mythological, historical and philosophical treatise of India. It is the world's longest literary text and epic, one of the main texts of Hinduism. This book is considered the fifth Veda in Hinduism. Although it is considered one of the most unique works of literature, but even today, this book is an exemplary source for every Indian. This work is a saga of the history of ancient India. In this, the most sacred book of Hinduism is contained in the Bhagavad Gita. There are about 1,10,000 verses in the entire Mahabharata, ten times more in magnitude than the Greek poems Iliad and Odissi.
Traditionally, the creation of the Mahabharata is attributed to Vedavyasa. Many attempts have been made to unravel its historical rise and structural layers.
According to the Mahabharata, the narrative is expanded from a smaller version of 24,000 shlokas called simply Bharata. According to Hindu beliefs, mythological references and the Mahabharata itself, the creator of this poem is considered to be Vedavas ji. The author of this poem, Ved Vyas ji, in his unique poetry has depicted the greatest mysteries of the Vedas, Vedangas and Upanishads. Apart from this, justice, education, medicine, astrology, warfare, yogashastra, economics, architecture, craftsmanship, kamshastra, astronomy and theology are also described in detail in this poem.
