This application, still in development and in the testing phase, is part of a dissertation
Master's Degree Program ProfLetras. It was created as an intervention proposal for deviations from
spelling presented by students with disabilities and ASD from the Early Years of Elementary School
attended in a Generalist Resource Room of a school in the Federal District in 2020.
The game contains three stages, called Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3. In the first stage
(Game 1) the children choose the correct writing of the presented drawing and, if they don't get it right, the
rule and / or the form established for the writing of that word. Stage 2 (Game 2) shows the
children that speech and writing are distinct processes, however, writing often suffers
orality interference. Thus, at this stage, the player will hear audios with spoken
(accent / intonation / mode) for the same word, but he / she must choose the form
correct spelling for the word heard. In stage 3 (Game 3), the participant will hear words,
sentences and phrases and must write them according to the rules of writing. Next, you will compare the
your writing with orthographic writing.

The intention is to collaborate with the literacy of Special Education students, speakers of
Portuguese language and that are served in Resource Rooms, as well as facilitating the learning of
spelling of other children in the process of literacy, in order to contribute to a
reflection on the language, leading them to understand the need for language adaptation
considering the communicative context.
