What is PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?:
Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi is one of the important schemes of the Government of India. Small and marginal farmers who have less than 2 hectares (4.9 acres) of land provide financial assistance to them. Under this scheme, all farmers are getting Rs. 6 thousand per year as minimum income support. This scheme is applicable from 1 December 2018.

Under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, beneficiary farmers get an amount of Rs 6,000 every year. An installment of 2000 rupees is sent to the farmers' accounts every three months.

Aadhar card is a must:
If an applicant has applied in the scheme without Aadhaar, then there can be a problem in getting 6 thousand rupees in his account. According to the experts of the scheme, when applying under PM Kisan Yojana, there is no benefit of this scheme if there is no Aadhaar number or if it is entered incorrectly.
