In this post, I am going to show you how to install Screen Dimmer Plus on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install Screen Dimmer Plus using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Screen Dimmer Plus" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Screen Dimmer Plus is a simple yet customizable app that allows you to dim the entire screen of your Android phone (including notifications) and increase your battery life.

Screen Dimmer Plus allows you set a color filter to your screen with an opacity and brightness that suits your needs. It's suitable for using your device on the dark or at night without harming your vision.

Features:
* Customizable filter color and opacity that dims the entire screen.
* Use default or custom brigthness.
* Control it with notification or a floating button.
* Supports gestures (shaking, wave and flipping) to do chosen actions.

Notes:
- The app runs as accessiblity service to apply over the screen so you need to activate it on Accessiblity settings.
- Flip feature works by turning your phone 180° and turning it back.
- Use one of the gesture features at least to turn on/off the screen dimmer to control it even when your screen is very dark. Otherwise, you can disable the screen dimmer by rebooting your android device.
