In this post, I am going to show you how to install AR Camera on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install AR Camera using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "AR Camera" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install AR Camera on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install

Augmented reality Camera(AR Camera) enables you to take exciting or surprising photos/videos by making virtual objects appear in the real world.
For example, photo of non-existent animals, video of impossible small animals, Spirit photography and so on.

AR Camera can load virtual objects from glb files, gltf files, or obj files.
You can download gltf files or obj files from stores or community. (Please be aware of the rights)
You can create gltf files or obj files by using 3D creation suites (e.x. blender (https://www.blender.org/), Prisma3D (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com))

You can check virtual object by Easy-to-use preview. AR Camera provides the following functions:
- Tap light point to set a virtual object
- Slide seekbar in control panel to change the height of the virtual object after tapping a virtual object
- Delete button in control panel to delete the virtual object after tapping a virtual object
- Drag the virtual object to move it after tapping a virtual object
- Pinch to scale it after tapping a virtual object
- Twist to rotate it after tapping a virtual object
- Tap camera button to take a photo
- Tap movie button to record a movie
- Tap current object screen to transit preview screen
- Tap right button to show an next virtual object in preview screen
- Tap left button to show a preview virtual object in preview screen
- Drag a virtual object to rotate it in preview screen
- Pincha virtual object to scale it in preview screen
- Tap import button to transform gltf file or obj file to glb file and import it in preview screen
- Tap delete button to delete a current virtual object in preview screen
- Tap check button to select a current virtual object in preview screen
- Enter in search box to search virtual objects in preview screen
