Technology affordances affect the instructional design and the manner of teaching. Aside from the content, the technological media (mobile phone) have affordances which change the learning experience. Thus, it is important to study the effects of integrating technology in educational settings, and how such technologies can be maximized to improve learning. Augmented reality is a field in which 3D virtual objects are integrated into a 3D real environment in real-time. Since then according to recent advancements in Augmented Reality a new definition emerged, an AR system supplements the real world with virtual (computer-generated) objects that appear to coexist in the same space as the real world. Continuing from that, THeAR apps have been developed to create more interactive and lively learning to explore on Toxic & Hazardous Waste Management courses.
