The premise of the game is that you’re the commander of an army of stick men – these may include miners, who don’t fight but earn you gold, plus your swordsmen, spear carriers, archers, mages, and more. Your goal in each mission is to destroy the enemy statue in order to get the win, or to defend your own castle or base against the enemy’s counterattacks, all the while capturing more territories and unlocking more units. Parents need to know that StickWars 2 is a sequel to last years app game hit, Stick Wars. Like its predecessor, it asks you to defend a castle that is being besieged by stick figure attackers. You do this mostly by flicking the bad guys away with your finger, but you can also set up wizards and archers to blast your enemies with arrows and magic bolts. Though the characters are stick figures, they are still killed in rather gruesome ways -- cartoony, of course, but gruesome, nonetheless.
