◾ Choose a good Catholic Bible translation

This app offers the Douay-Rheims Challoner Revision 1752 from the original Douay-Rheims English version of the Bible printed in 1582 prior to the King James Version.

Douay-Rheims Challoner Revision is a Catholic translation of the Bible: it includes the Deuterocanonical writings. It contains 46 Old Testament books. Specifically, the Deuterocanonical writings are seven full Old Testament books (Tobit, Judith, Esther, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Wisdom and Baruc) which Catholic Bibles contain but most Protestant versions do not.

◾ Why is an on-line Bible better?

Usually, in the printed versions of the Bible, the print is tiny, the format hard to read and the columns are narrow, and all of this make it difficult to read. Choose a digital version, an online Bible to read on your phone. The best thing, besides being able to read it, you can listen to it because it comes with audio. It's the perfect Bible for you!

◾ Features of the app:

- Free Bible for Android
- Offline Bible app (the app works without an internet connection)
- A completely new and user-friendly interface
- Audio Catholic Bible: you can hear a verse or the entire chapter
- Ability to search in books and chapters by keywords
- Bookmark your favorite verses with colors
- Make a list of favorites
- Add notes
- Choose a size of print large enough that you can read the words without strain or fatigue
- Receive inspirational verses daily on your phone
- Apply Night mode for low-lit reading areas

◾ It contains the complete Catholic Bible with 73 books.

Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Tobit, Judith, Esther, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Wisdom, Sirach, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Baruch, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.

New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude, Revelation
