Brief:
Ibrahim Muhammad Salih, known as Abu Arab (1931 - March 2, 2014) is a poet and singer of the Great Palestinian Revolution. Abu Arab was born in the village of Al-Shajara (located midway between the cities of Nazareth and Tiberias), Tiberias in Palestine in 1931, which is also the village of the murdered cartoonist in 1987 Naji Al-Ali.

Abu Arab acquired his poetic talent from his maternal grandfather Sheikh Ali Al-Ahmad, one of the elders of Al-Shajarah village who used to write poetry.

After the village was displaced in the year 1948, he sought refuge in the village of Kafr Kanna to stay close to his father, who stayed in the English Hospital in Nazareth after he was shot in one of the tree battles. After that, the Zionist guerrilla forces began to investigate the presence of figures from Al-Shajarah, Loubah, and Arabs of Subaih in the village, after the killing of 151 members of the Zionist gangs in the Battle of Loubia, in which a large number of fighters from the neighboring villages participated, among them Loubia itself, Al-Shajarah, and Arabs of Subaih, mainly, in addition to Kfarna, Rayneh, Sakhnin, Araba and Nazareth. Abu Arab fled to the village of Araba Al-Batouf and stayed there for two months, then he went to Lebanon, then to Syria, Tunisia and the diaspora camps around the world.
