This Maulid was composed and written in 1994 in the town of Syihir near Mukalla – Hadramaut, when I was there. He is the Noble Teacher (Al-Musnid Al-Habib Umar bin Hafidh), our noble teacher has language skills combined with the power of the RUH combined with the deep depth of SHARIA. Our noble teacher is not just any teacher, like a blend of the figures of the ocean of sharia, the ocean of da'wah, the ocean of worship, the ocean of makrifah and haqiqah. He is indeed a linguist, his poetry is not only Maulid Dhiya'ullami', but more than 1000 paragraphs of poetry have been published from his speech, if you add up it might be hundreds of thousands of stanzas.

He is also dubbed AL-MUSNID, namely: (Every time he mentions the hadith he is able or memorized to mention the sanad until the Prophet SAW or KUTUBUS SHAHIH) At the age before 20 years he had memorized 20 thousand hadith, and continued to finish to 100,000 hadith, but during his visit , he admonished me not to mention the title ALHAFIDH in his name.

This is how humble our Master is, he doesn't like his title to be called, even though now to enter his Islamic boarding school at DARUL MUSTHAFA, the conditions must be HAFAL THE AL-QUR'AN and 2000 hadiths along with the sanad.
