Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) is a political party whose ideology communists in Indonesia. The party was founded at the initiative of Dutch socialist Henk Sneevliet in 1914, with the name Indische Sociaal-Democratische Vereeniging (ISDV) (or the Social Democratic Union of the Indies).
