Also part of the AirStrip ONE enterprise healthcare mobility solution, AirStrip Cardiology is a pioneering mobile solution that allows clinicians to review the extent of a patient’s ECG history and completely changes the way that cardiac waveform data can be viewed, reviewed, and interacted with.

In simplest terms, AirStrip Cardiology can allow for more timely treatment of the cardiac patient; whether in the pre-hospital or in-patient space. Furthermore, AirStrip Cardiology can allow for unprecedented collaboration between Emergency Medical Systems, Emergency Department and Cardiology teams – especially when transporting potential AMI and STEMI patients.

AirStrip Cardiology provides a native application from which the original ECG data is rebuilt with sharp, full detail at the highest possible resolution - no more muddy-looking faxes, emails or PDF’s. The core features of AirStrip Cardiology are the following:

-Users can receive 12 lead ECG waveforms and other data wirelessly from certain Emergency Medical Services (i.e. an ambulance) and the hospital ECG management system.

-Users can access and interact with this data anytime, anywhere on their mobile device via the native AirStrip application using a cellular connection or Wi-Fi.

-Users can see clear and accurate waveforms and can detect differences of less than .05 millivolts (.5 millimeter).

-AirStrip mobilizes ALL 10 seconds of the digital information obtained from the 12 lead ECG sources; not just the three seconds chosen by the ECG machine.

-Users can simultaneously scroll through a full 10 seconds for all leads while retaining the traditional 12-lead layout.

-The compound zooming feature allows for a “pinch zoom” functionality for the 12-leads which allows for a visual clarity of 1/10th of a millimeter while retaining the traditional 12-lead comparison layout. This means the system maintains perspective of the view in all leads while the user is focused on pinching and zooming on one lead. The aspect ratios are always preserved.

-Users can see a full presentation of analysis algorithms for 12 leads.

-Users can readily access, review and compare past ECGs by comparing the full 12-lead view or comparing individual leads between two ECG's side by side.

-Users can set any of the leads as the rhythm strip, see all available beats and control which beats.

-Users can quickly define which leads they want to compare in a 10 second, stacked view analysis.

-Users can use the Measurement Tables to review electrophysiological parameters and measurements of the lead (waveform) data.
