Cicih Cangkurileung is the stage name for the singer who is known as the singer of jaipongan, kliningan, and kecamatan. His real name is Cicih Rukesih. Cicih has released more than 100 cassette albums. Cicih Cangkurileung has had a career in the Sundanese art world for more than 45 years, and is known as a singer who has a strong voice, improvisation in senggol (song ornaments), especially the kejawen senggol, pedotan (entry technique, on each song line). The stage name Cangkurileung (kutilang) began to be used when participating in a sinden contest which required participants to use the bird's name behind the original.

Kliningan is a set of gamelan that has a salendro tone accompanied by Juru Sekar consisting of Sinden and Wira Swara, if it is performed specifically it is called Kiliningan. The twilight is also referred to as a triangular elbow that is usually beaten. Kiliningan comes from the North Coast of West Java (Karawang, Bekasi, Purwakarta, Indramayu, and Subang).

The Sundanese are an ethnic group originating from the western part of the island of Java, Indonesia, with the term Tatar Pasundan which covers the administrative areas of the provinces of West Java, Banten, Jakarta, and the western region of Central Java (Banyumasan).
