Full description: Leica DMshare allows the wireless transfer of images your Leica Microsystems ICC50 HD,IC80 HD, EZ4 HD, DMS300, DMS1000,MC120 HD, MC170 HD, EC3, DMC 29000, DFC 3000G-camera to one or multiple Android® devices.

Taking a picture is easy; you simply tap anywhere inside a large area on the Android screen. This design makes it possible to capture images on the Android device whilst using the microscope and viewing through the oculars.

Leica DMshare also provides a live display of what you and the camera can see on the microscope. This makes it easy to visualize the final image and share the microscope experience with others. Multiple tablets can be connected to the same camera - an excellent setup for teaching and discussion. Take it further with ability to connect to different camera from the same Android device– Flexibility to select the appropriate camera for the contrasting technique and application And compare information from different imaging systems.

Images captured on the Android device can be organised into groups, edited, or shared with the Photos app or via email. It also can be annotated directly. Annotation can be edited easily according to personal preferences. For all images, post-acquisition processing like modifying the contrast, saturation, etc is possible

Based on a manual calibration of the system, simple measurements like length, area etc can be performed. Multiple calibration settings e.g. for different objectives or cameras can be stored and recalled at any time later.

Your Android devices also provides instant mobility. Walk away from the microscope to show your images to colleagues, to consult, or even to connect to a projector, television or Apple TV. Sharing images is simple!

The Leica DMshare application connects with Leica Microsystems' ICC50 HD camera (compatible with any manual DM microscope). To complete the connection, a Digital Transfer Hub (DTH) with specific software onboard must be purchased from Leica Microsystems. The DTH connects directly with the camera/microscope to provide wireless communication between your Android devices and camera. Please be noted, some camera controlling functions such as auto/manual brightness level, exposure time, gain, brightness level, gamma etc. are only supported by the latest DTH.
