The Kultur- und Sportverein Baunatal e.V., North Hesse's largest sports club, was founded in 1892 and offers a diverse and extensive range of sports under its roof. The club is dedicated to recreational, popular, competitive and health sports. A large part of the club is played by children's and youth sports. Of the currently approx. 6,700 members, almost 2,000 are children and young people. Well over 100 trained - partly permanent - trainers and sports instructors lead the practice or training hours with many other helpers.
