Training, Updating, Aggregation is the slogan of the XXI Congress of the Italian Society of Maxillofacial Surgery.
The program includes a first day dedicated to training through theoretical and practical courses where learners will have the opportunity to learn closely the use of products, tools and devices.
The Company with the support of specialists will train the participants in the sectors of navigation and surgical planning, treatment of condyle fractures, resorbable osteosynthesis means, piezosurgery, zygomatic implants, implant surgery, osteosynthesis in orthognathic surgery, nasal sinus endoscopy.
The courses will be selective and limited in number in order to guarantee the quality of the training. In the following days, we will then move on to updating with pre-arranged reading sessions according to the three conference themes, namely Cystic Neoformations of the Jaws, Tongue Tumor and Orthognathic Surgery, the latter focused on an extremely topical aspect such as Surgery first , surgery before orthodontic treatment. During the three days, both national and international speakers will alternate. The goal will be to update the participants on the state of the art of the three topics also through the creation of three monographs.
Also as part of the update, free communications will be provided, 15 masterclasses, 4 courses relating to Oral Surgery, TMJ Disorders, Oral Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine and three international symposia such as AO, IBRA and Italy at the center of the Mediterranean with experts national and international.
Finally, the XXI SICMF National Congress will be an opportunity for aggregation where even events such as the Opinion Arena, the SICMF CUP, the readings "Not just maxillofacial surgery" will represent an informal way of updating for everyone but with an aggregative and light spirit.
