A horrible epidemic surrounded him in 2035. People who became infected with the virus died as a result of different mutations. For years, scientists have attempted to find a cure for the infection. They produced a new drug as a result of extensive research and testing. While the produced drug was effective in the beginning, the virus mutated extensively as a result of the drug's influence over time. People infected with the infection were no longer dead, but they could not be said to have survived. Infected people were walking dead. The doctor, who blamed himself for this, dedicated his life to eradicating the infection in his shelter.
