Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. Notification light is a very elegant way to let use know about new notifications. Lighting will be bright during initial phase and gradually dim based on selected app brightness to save battery.

NOTE: Default app setting will stop the edge lighting animation after 10 repetition, but you will continue to see the static edge with color notifications. This is done for battery saving as any sort of animation causes more battery usage. You can choose to have animation run infinitely as well. Adjust the settings as per your desire.
