C-Score is a collaboration between global health tech company Huma and Chelsea Digital Ventures, a digital-first, consumer product business spun out from Chelsea FC. We have assembled a global team of the top technology and public health experts to identify a holistic way to measure general health leveraging the technological capabilities of our smartphones. C-Score is only a general measure of health and does not take into account any pre-existing conditions you may have. If you have any health concerns, please contact your healthcare provider or GP.

Data is collected across 7 modifiable lifestyle factors - “domains” - which are confirmed as indicators of long-term health in medical literature. Once you have completed all of the domains you are given a C-Score and by measuring your C-Score regularly, you can keep track of your general health. You can use C-score to set personal health goals, whether that’s getting extra sleep at night or trying to lose a little weight.

1. Self-rated health
2. Cardiovascular health
3. Sleep
4. Cigarette smoking
5. Alcohol consumption
6. Body Shape Assessment
7. Cognitive function

It all starts with how you’re feeling
Nobody knows your body better than you. The way you feel about your general wellness is a good indication of how healthy you are.

Your heart rate and health
Your resting heart rate is the number of times your heart beats per minute.
Measuring it is a way of understanding the state of your overall physical fitness.

Sleep and your health
Sleep plays a vital role in your wellbeing, which is why the duration and quality of sleep are key inputs into your C-score.

Smoking and your health
The amount you smoke has an impact on your health. We'd like to understand the number of cigarettes you smoke so we can make your C-score as accurate as possible.

Alcohol and your health
The amount of alcohol you consume has affects your health. To make your C-score as accurate as possible we'd like to understand the number of alcohol units you drink.

Waist to height ratio and your health
Bodies are all a bit different — curvy, broad, slim, there’s no “normal”. However, your waist to height ratio is an excellent indicator of visceral fat which plays an important role in determining your health.

Measuring your reaction time
Your ability to react to external stimuli is an important part of your health. Reaction time naturally slows as you age.

There has never been a better time to look after your health. Small changes make a big difference.
