The North Australian Lectionary app is a reference tool for churches in the Anglican Diocese of the Northern Territory.

It gives you a quick way to:

1. Find the bible reading for Sunday (in English, Kriol, Anindilyakwa, Kunwinjku and Wubuy where available)

2. Look up resources, like bible commentaries, to understand the reading. This includes the NAL Commentary and Easy English Bible Commentary.

3. Find Anglican NT Diocese services in language (Kriol only now, but more available soon)

Sunday readings are taken from the North Australian Lectionary, an innovative 8 year lectionary, which are based on by church seasons and the tropical seasons of Wet, Dry and Build-Up. Find our more here: www.ntanglican.org.au/the-north-australian-lectionary/

This tool incorporates bible translations in 5 languages: English, Kriol, Anindilyakwa, Kunwinjku and Wubuy. Additional resources such as up to date vernacular Scriptures in the four noted non English languages, commentaries, liturgies and Kriol Bible audio are also included. A plan to include further Anglican material such the Kriol Preya Buk is underway.
