In this post, I am going to show you how to install Rally Odometer on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Rally Odometer using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Rally Odometer" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

This is a simple GPS odometer that is adjustable for Rally use.
The GPS signal is filtered using a proprietary algorithm to reduce location drift.
The odometer is accurate to within 0.5%, similar to a wheel-driven odometer.
The odometer is adjustable in increments of 0.01, 0.1 and 1.0 distance units (miles or km)
The odometer can be run backwards or forwards.
The odometer can also be stopped and re-started at any time without zeroing.
Distance units of miles or km can be selected.
A correction factor can be set to speed up or slow down the odometer to match the route book, this is typically done during on ODO Check at the beginning of the rally.

Auto-Factor feature:
The correction factor can be set automatically during the odometer check using the Auto-factor button.

1. Zero the odometer at the start of the odometer check, at zero route book mileage.
2. Drive the odometer check to the end. You can use the increment/decrement buttons during the odometer check as these adjustments are accounted in the Auto-Factor calculation.
3. At the end of the odometer check, hit the Auto-Factor button. You will be prompted for the ideal distance from the route book. The app will then compare this to the raw unadjusted odometer and calculate the correct factor.
4. The Auto-factor process can be repeated whenever distance is accumulated after a fresh odometer zero. It will adjust an existing factor that has been set manually to something not equal to 1.0000 .

Considerations:
In device settings>Location, turn off network location and turn on GPS. Only GPS location can be used with this app.
It is strongly recommended that you also disable cell phone and texting. The App will continue to operate correctly, but the distraction is unwelcome.
