Mau Mau is a simple card game for 2-6 players, typically played with a deck of standard playing cards. The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards. The game starts with a dealer dealing a certain number of cards to each player, depending on the number of players. The remaining cards form a draw pile. The top card of the draw pile is placed face up to start a discard pile. The first player starts by playing a card that matches either the suit or rank of the top card of the discard pile. The next player must then play a card that matches either the suit or rank of the previous card. The game continues in this fashion, with players trying to get rid of all their cards as quickly as possible. Certain cards, such as eights or jacks, have special abilities that allow players to change the suit or skip their turn. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
