Rondonopolitano creates App for nostalgic people to miss the old Radio Amorim Juventude 660 AM.

From the app, people will take a trip back in time and will be able to kill the nostalgia of the station's programming.

The nostalgic for old songs and radio station programming still in Amplitude Modulated (AM), like that of the old Rádio Juventude, will soon be able to kill some of their homesickness. This is because the application “Rádio Amorim Juventude 660 AM” will go on the air, through which people will be able to listen to the musical programming and even the old vignettes of the station in Rondonopolitana, which closed its doors and stopped broadcasting on June 21 of the year 2018.

The application will be available on the RádiosNet platform and was designed by the announcer Ronicley Parateco, 41, who also wants to honor the entrepreneur Edson Amorim Pires, pioneer of communication in Rondonópolis and founder of Rádio Juventude and Amorim FM, who for years have captivated generations of Rondonopolitanos with their music and announcer team.

The novelty will be available to be accessed by the general public from 0 am on the next Monday (05/24) and can be accessed 24 hours a day. In addition to the old songs, listeners will also be able to kill the longing for the old vignettes of the station, Hora Certa, which aired hourly, in addition to the station prefix, recorded by Orestes Miraglia.

According to Ronicley Parateco, the entire project has the knowledge and consent of Edson Amorim's heirs, who were delighted with the initiative.

In February of that year, I got in touch via phone and talked to Aline Amorim, daughter of the late Edson Amorim, and I introduced her to this project, explained the purpose of the project and asked her for authorization. Immediately, she complied with the request, praised the project and welcomed it. She was touched and said that this project is a valuable project, even because it will take her father's name on the App and especially those who followed the local programming of the former Rádio Juventude AM, she said.

The application can be downloaded from the Play Store or the App Store of applications corresponding to the smartphone's operating system (Android or IOS). The content is made available entirely online and internet connection via mobile data package or WI-FI is required.
