Evie Tamala, born in Tasikmalaya, June 23, 1969, is an Indonesian dangdut singer. The singer whose real name is Cucu Suryaningsih is famous for his songs Goodnight, Cinta Ketok Magic and Dokter Cinta.

The youngest of 6 siblings started his career in the 1980s as a stage singer and joined the Sinar Remaja orchestra group. At that time, Evie used the stage name Uce Arifina. His orchestra group did not only perform in Tasikmalaya, but also went to Bandung. Until one day Muchtar B, a famous dangdut songwriter who is also a producer, heard his characteristic soft and melodious voice.

Long story short, Evie, who at that time was still using her stage name, entered the recording kitchen in 1986-1987 to work on her first album, titled Lilinap Nasi. This album itself consists of 10 songs. 5 songs are the results of Muchtar B, the creator and producer himself.
