He is Sheikh Yasser bin Rashid bin Hussein Al-Wadani Al-Dossari, one of the most famous figures of rhetoric and reading the Holy Qur’an in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab and Islamic worlds. He is the imam and preacher of Al-Dakhil Mosque in Riyadh and Secretary-General of Prince Sultan University for the memorization of the Holy Qur’an in the Saudi Air Defense Forces.
Sheikh Al-Dossary was born in Al-Kharj Governorate (southeast of Riyadh), he is currently 34 years old, married and father of two sons and two daughters.

Sheikh Al-Dosari reached a large amount of knowledge, and he obtained a bachelor's degree from the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in the year 1424 AH, then a master's degree and a doctorate in comparative jurisprudence from the Higher Judicial Institute of the same university.

Sheikh Al-Dossari was a student at the hands of a large number of distinguished scholars and sheikhs, among them the scholar Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Jibreen (may God have mercy on him), the scholar Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh (the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia), and Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Hamid (Chairman of the Council Supreme Judicial Council in the country), Sheikh Saad bin Nasser Al-Shetri (member of the Council of Senior Scholars), and others ...

Sheikh Al-Dossari completed memorizing the Noble Qur’an when he was 15 years old, and his talent for reading was remarkably prominent. His mastery and sweetness of his voice witnessed the senior sheikhs whom he mixed with, including Sheikh Bakri al-Tarabishi, the owner of the highest chain of narrators in the world, and Sheikh Ibrahim al-Akhdar, the sheikh of the reciters of Medina. As a culmination of his talent, Sheikh Al-Dossary issued a number of audio tapes, including the recited Qur’an from Taraweeh prayers and qiyaam, and a tape containing 51 Qur’anic versions, and another out of 6 varied versions.

Sheikh Al-Dossari assumed the imamate in a number of mosques since the year 1416 AH, including Al-Dakhil Mosque in Riyadh, where a large crowd is currently praying behind it that fills the sides of the mosque and the surrounding squares, and he was invited to the imamate in other countries such as the Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
