Step By Step Guide To Install USACE ESF#3 Support using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. This application is for USACE, FEMA and state and local emergency managers for use during exercises and events which include ESF#3 Temporary Emergency Power Support. It includes an overview of weather and earthquake conditions affecting the US and it's possessions. It also includes a screen for active missions which can be accessed by registering the product. The APP is fully functional on native android devices. It works on Blackberry Z10's but has somewhat limited functionality for some charts. This APP is optimized for mobile phones, there is a separate APP optimized for tablets.

The APP works best with Google Maps. DO NOT select Google Earth as it will cause your phone to freeze.
Final Release of the Fusion Table version of this APP. Users should switch to the ESF#3 Power PRT APP which is available from the Google Play Store. This app will be deprecated prior to the 2019 hurricane season.
