In this post, I am going to show you how to install Roaming Prefix on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Roaming Prefix using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Roaming Prefix" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Each time you travel you can use the application to get in touch with your close ones without needing to make any changes to your contact list.

Whenever you make a call the application automatically validates the number to the SIM’s original country (the most basic example, if you’re using an UK mobile operator, the application automatically updates the prefix of your country).

What you need to remember about this application is that it produces NO changes to your contact list, it just applies to your call in course.

Available settings:
- "Activate roaming prefix" – Activates/Deactivates the functionality of the application
- "In roaming alert" – Alerts the user to check phone configuration when entering a roaming service.
- "All time active" – Whenever this option is active, the application will validate numbers with the country code even if NOT using a roaming service. If this option is deactivated, the application will take action only when using a roaming service.
- "Display updated phone number" – Using this option the application will show a message each time you make a call with the updated number. The message is active only for a few seconds.
