Fatima Eid (March 18, 1962 -), an Egyptian singer. She was born in the city of Al-Qanayat in Sharkia Governorate, married to Major General Shafiq Al-Shayeb, and they had two children, Dalia, a Bachelor of Interpretation, Nevin, a Bachelor of Arts from Cairo University, then the last of Al-Anqoud Shaima. She was educated in the channel schools until the secondary stage, then in the seventies she joined the Institute of Arabic Music, the Department of Voices.
Her story with singing goes back to her childhood when the people of the channels would bring her a chair to stand on and sing songs on happy occasions such as weddings and birthdays, and her first song was from folklore because it is the singing of grandparents and the inheritance of children. The first concert I sang in was in the seventies and on the Al-Gomhouria Theater, in which a group of songs was presented, including: Ah Yaleel, Khali Balak, Ya Saghira, and a paragraph that lasted for an hour and the audience responded well, and this concert was the acquaintance card of a singer named Fatima Eid. So many and released more than 45 albums. The artist is an ambassador for his country. She has traveled to many Arab and European countries, including: Tunisia, Morocco, Syria, Austria, Germany and America. She also attended many festivals. She participated in the Carthage Festival in Tunisia more than 15 times.
