Where was the Rainbow Children's Ministry born?
In the United States of America!

The International Rainbow Children's Ministry started as part of the Church of God. One of the purposes was to go and provide training to the churches to help them establish or strengthen their local children's ministries and to participate in the churches of the denomination with children's services and campaigns. It became known when Pastor Abel Esquivel, Regional Leader at that time, acquired the domain: www.ministerioinfantil.com with the aim of providing free resources for Sunday School teachers, not only of the denomination, but worldwide to Through the platform acquired, with: lessons, coloring sheets, games, crafts, topics of interest to teachers and parents, etc. Then bro. Abel Esquivel created a forum in YahooGroups: http://espanol.groups.yahoo.com/group/ministerioinfantil, in order to help more children's leaders.

People from many countries were quickly added, seeking resources and spiritual support for the work in their ministries and churches. Through the forum, topics of general interest, resources, prayer, friendship, etc. were discussed. The Rainbow Children's Ministry has grown tremendously. 5 International Congresses have been held: in Guatemala, Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico and in 2021 it will be online.
