National guidelines for lower secondary school (as 2021/22) is an application that contains the salient points of the "Regulations containing national guidelines for the curriculum of the kindergarten and the first cycle of education, in accordance with article 1, paragraph 4, of the decree of the President of the Republic March 20, 2009, n. 89 "(decree no. 254) relating to didactic planning in lower secondary school.

As is well known, the national guidelines for the nursery school curriculum and the first cycle of education have replaced middle school programs.

The application does not aim to replace the official reference documentation, on the contrary: the intention is to promote it by making the goals for developing skills immediately usable with a simple click at the time of curriculum design.

There is also the description of the disciplines and the specific learning objectives for each discipline (to be achieved by the end of the third grade of lower secondary school): an incentive to consult this guide more often soaked in pedagogy so that you can leave once. for all the idea that there are still "programs" to be completed by the end of each school year.

The hope is to encourage the conversion to a teaching based on skills, in step with the times and inscribed in the horizon of meaning recommended by the national guidelines, in line with Europe.

It is also available in the side menu:
• the activity creation function with which each teacher can plan with reference to the national guidelines and, if desired, share their notes with colleagues. In this sense, it will be possible to design entire UDAs (Didactic Learning Units). All the activities will give rise to their own personal didactic archive;
• a space dedicated to support where you can access the salient points of the reference legislation:
• • Guidelines for the scholastic integration of pupils with disabilities (note prot. No. 4274 of 4 August 2009);
• • Guidelines for the right to study of pupils and students with specific learning disabilities (attached to the Ministerial Decree of 12 July 2011);
• • Guidelines for the reception and integration of foreign students (February 2014);
• • Ministerial Directive 27 December 2012 "Intervention tools for pupils with special educational needs and territorial organization for school inclusion";
• The PDP creation function (Personalized didactic plan) through which it will be possible to compile, download and print the document in PDF format. The model that inspired us is the one published as an example for secondary school on the MIUR website.

Finally, in light of the recent publication of the "Guidelines for teaching civic education" (attached to Ministerial Decree no. 35 of 22 June 2020) for the first and second cycle of education, the section relating to it also disciplines civic education (already present in the national guidelines for the nursery school curriculum and the first cycle of education as "citizenship education").

The national indications for the curriculum of the kindergarten and the first cycle of education are considered the "Bible" of the school world and, for this reason, this application proves to be a valid support tool during the study of university exams. , for the planning of the activities to be carried out during the internship courses in the lower secondary school and also for the preparation for the school competitions.

An effective way to have the foundations of educational design at hand to resolve any doubts in the blink of an eye and to always have the direction to follow in front of your eyes!

We invite all teachers and professors to share it!
