Ovación is the first journalistic sports corporation in Peru, with more than four decades of experience. With extensive experience in Radio Press, at first as a program and then as a station, in Written Press, such as Magazine, Newspaper and Weekly, and in Television Press as a daily program on open signal television. Since its inception, OVACION has made a difference in sports journalism in the country, innovating styles, developing new proposals and, above all, being the quarry for dozens of new journalists who found in OVACION the home from which they began their careers.

With a staff of first-rate professionals, OVACION has been present at major sporting events in Peru and the world for the last 40 years as a sports multimedia company. In the new world context, OVACION ventures into the Internet, an instrument that brings together all the media and that, from its global nature, will consolidate OVACION's presence not only in Peru, but in all parts of the planet, displaying its 2 historical slogans: "Wherever sports are played, there is OVATION" and "OVATION, a Peru in tune".

For this reason, for 2008, added to “Radio OVACION – 620 AM” we present to you: “The Portal OVACION – The First On Line Sports Newspaper in the country”, we know that it is a great challenge but we are sure that we can satisfy the demands that these times of modernity demand. This first project has a special meaning for us, because we started it from scratch working on it simultaneously to repower and besiege Ovación as the leading sports radio in our country. We are sure that both projects will complement each other so that, in a short time, we can present to you: Ovación FM - Cañete, the Ovación Sports Weekly, Ovación Kids, Ovación at the National AM level, Ovación in FM - Lima and the last and most ambitious Of all the projects we have in mind, Ovación Tv, first as a program and then as a Sports Channel. As you can see, the challenge is great.

Therefore, we have many long hours of work ahead of us, but with the support and preference that all of you give us, we are fully confident that we will achieve it in the short, medium and long term. In this way, OVACION grows with Peru and is strengthened as an international Peruvian Brand, with 50 years of experience in sports events, maintaining a privileged position as leaders of opinion and sympathy. Now, we have to thank the signs of affection received during these days, hoping, from the bottom of our hearts, that all the effort made to air our online newspaper seems worth it.
