GIMEMA-ALLIANCE is a digital platform (https://alliance.gimema.it) that allows hematological patients to better monitor their health and symptoms. The patient can graphically see the results of the progress of his symptoms over time and also keep track of any changes in his state of health. Within the platform, the patient has the opportunity to fill out short questions about their state of health, the results of which can be seen in real time by the hematologist with whom the patient is being treated. In this way, the haematologist is helped to better understand the patient's real state of health, even from a distance, and can then better discuss with his patient which are the symptoms that are most important to him.
The general purpose is to facilitate doctor-patient communication, and allow the doctor to better understand the subjective state of health perceived by the patient.
Through the platform you can also make video consultations with your hematologist, or the patient can communicate other important aspects, which may be useful for the doctor.
Only patients who have previously been registered in the ALLIANCE program of the GIMEMA Franco Mandelli Onlus Foundation can use this App. If you are interested, ask your hematologist how to enter the program.
