Tablet Music Instrument was developed as an experiment (with limitations) : one hand playing music on the right side of a tablet, while the left side shows a musical score.

Tablet Music Instrument is a single touch app (only one finger touching the screen), producing one note at a time (no chords). Four octaves are shown on the right side of the tablet, on musical staffs with a different note per measure. Tapping a measure generates the sound corresponding to the note.

The left side of the screen can show a musical score to follow when playing.

Tablet Music Instrument can play the sounds of many instruments:
- Recorder flute, Concert (transverse) flute, Pan flute
- Clarinet, Oboe
- Violin, Guitar
- Piano, Harpsichord
- Harmonica, Accordion
- Trumpet
- Vibraphone, Chimes

Musical scores (as images) are selected using the Android Storage Access Framework, so possibly from multiple sources (tablet, Google Drive, etc). One score can be composed of multiple images, with buttons to go from one page to another.

Large tablets recommended.
