Step By Step Guide To Install Mosquito Surveillance using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

The mosquito surveillance app has been designed by Gaia Resources as part of the Atlas of Environmental Health for field officers to use in the management of mosquitoes in Victoria.

This app is intended to provide a means to collect and submit data on:
• Adult mosquito trapping- deploying and collecting mosquito traps
• Larval mosquito monitoring- doing larval dips at breeding sites and inspecting container breeding sites

The app also has tools to allow you to see your sites on an interactive map and to synchronise your data.

All data collected via this app is transmitted to the servers that run the Atlas of Environmental Health, where data visualisation can occur.
