The incident of the martyrdom of "Hussain bin Ali" in Karbala is one of the most important human tragedies throughout history. Where the eternal conflict between good and right on one side and evil and expediency on the other is manifested. And to make the picture clearer, what may appear to be a pure struggle for power between two warring parties is in fact a rebellious struggle against injustice and tyranny in which the most precious blood was shed. Al-Akkad talks about “Al-Hussein,” the grandson of the Prophet, balancing between him and his archenemy, “Yazid bin Muawiyah.” Let us read Al-Akkad’s analysis of the two characters, and the difference between what he called is their “mixing” to understand the roots of their rivalry until he brings us to their decisive battle on the Iraqi land of Karbala, whose events appear brutal. Incomprehensible, the lineage of Al-Hussein Al-Sharif, the hero who marched to his fate with courageous steadfastness, was not taken into account by those who betrayed him. May his immortal biography remain a beacon, and curses be left to his killers.
