Picmi Pro is an application developed for AMB taxi drivers, so that they can receive requests for the new Picmi Taxi digital service.

The Picmi Taxi service allows customers, from the AMB Mobility multimodal application, to request a taxi to pick them up immediately, without having to indicate their destination. Customers cannot make reservations, they only indicate the pick-up point for the taxi assigned by the system to go there.

With the Picmi Pro application, taxi drivers receive Picmi requests on their mobile phones from users requesting a taxi. Picmi Pro locates the taxi drivers closest to the pick-up point indicated by the customer and makes a request to check their availability. The service is assigned to the taxi that takes the shortest time to arrive at the pick-up point, and the taxi drivers who have been parked at the taxi ranks the longest are given priority.

Taxi drivers can also see the location and occupancy of stops throughout the metropolitan area of ​​Barcelona.

Taxi drivers who have an assigned Picmi service will be able to see the location of the customer's pick-up point, access the route and see the estimated time of arrival. If they do not find the customer upon arrival, they can send a notice to indicate that they have arrived at the collection point.

The main objectives of the service are:

- Increase the volume of demand for taxis
- Reduce times between journeys
- Make more efficient routes

Only in the event of incidents justified by regulation, the taxi driver may cancel the service while indicating the reason. Picmi Pro will also have available the detail of all the services performed by the taxi driver through the application, in the usage history of the main menu.
