Let's say there's a wildfire. Or a tornado. Or a firenado (yes, that is a real thing). Whatever the scenario, how do you stay in the know? What if your friends or family face danger and you want to know and be updated about their situation?

Do you like guessing what that distant siren means? Or constantly doomscrolling your news feed for potential catastrophes? Or waiting for your house to be engulfed in a flaming vortex?

What if you could follow multiple Groups to stay informed on events both near and far? What if you could receive local emergency Alerts directly to your phone no matter where you are? What if these Alerts contained text, location data, photos and other essential Media?

What if you could follow locations and receive Alerts outside your area where your friends or relatives may live that help you stay current on emergencies they may face?

What if you could create your own Public or Private Groups and send your own Posts for others to follow? Or follow theirs? Or participate in events by sending Traffic, Crime, Lost/Found, or Weather updates for your community?

Emergency Groups

All Know NOW! Users will automatically be informed of emergencies in their present location by the local Emergency Group. No need to sign up or provide personal information to anyone.

You can also follow any other Emergency Group for any other location to receive emergency alerts that you are interested in. Maybe you have a friend or relative in another location. You can follow that location and be informed about any events in those areas as well.

Emergency Alerts

• Automatically receive emergency Alerts from verified Groups in your area as well as Alerts from any Emergency Group that you follow. And when you travel, you will automatically receive Alerts from wherever you go.

• These Alerts, which are delivered in-App and as push notifications, can include text, locations, photos, videos, audio, documents and web links to give maximum context to every message.

Groups

Every Know NOW! User has the ability to create and lead their own Groups. Whether you want to lead a Public Group to promote your business or brand or create a Private Group to share videos with loved ones, Know NOW! allows you to create your own social network!

• Public Groups are searchable by the public and any App User can join, while Private Groups are not searchable by the public and can only be joined by invitation from the Group Owner. 

Posts

Every Know NOW! User can create Posts to share with their Public or Private Groups.

Every Post must include a Subject and can contain a Message or additional Media (locations, photos, video, audio, documents, web links).

You can even set your own expiration date that will remove your Post and its Media automatically.

Pre-set Templates allow you to post about Weather, Traffic, Lost/Found, Crime, or you can just create a general Post for any topic you desire to share.
