Get inspired, plan and go on a trip!

Remember that all travel in nature is at your own risk, and that the app is only intended as an aid. You cannot rely on coverage everywhere and be aware that using GPS on your phone can significantly reduce battery life.

Use a map and compass when you go on a trip, it always works. See also Fjellvettreglene at https://ut.no/fjellvettreglene. They help you plan and carry out a wonderful trip - which is also safe.
What we care about, we also need to protect!

In Norway, we have more than 3,000 protected areas of all sizes—natural environments that are important for preserving species, habitats, and landscapes. That's why we've made it a little clearer whether the hike you're planning takes place in a protected area, and what you need to keep in mind when visiting one.
