Cherry Creek High School, the oldest of six high schools in the Cherry Creek School District, is a public high school, grades 9- 12, with a student enrollment of approximately 3,500.

The school calendar is comprised of two 18-week sessions, totaling 180 days in length. The daily schedule consists of eight 51 minute periods. Located on an 80 acre campus, CCHS is housed in four separate buildings. The school library, open to the community, contains over 45,000 volumes.

FACULTY AND STAFF

The CCHS faculty and staff are well-educated and qualified to assume their roles. Over 310 staff members work with CCHS students each day. Of those, 223 are certified teachers. Over 2/3 of the faculty has at least 11 or more years of experience in education.

Nine members of the faculty possess doctorate degrees with a total of 75% of the faculty having earned at least a master’s degree. Five deans, ten guidance counselors, and one postgraduate coordinator provide students with support services.

COMMUNITY

CCHS was founded in 1955. It has 4 buildings, on 80 acres, with its most recent renovation completed in summer of 2010. Our beautiful campus was designed with functionality in mind.
