Teachers, were you planning to take your scholars on a field trip this year? Perfect timing! Take your students to Mars with virtual reality! Curiosity Games: Middle School Math takes place in a virtual reality simulation of Mars and its moons. Scholars will not only master standard aligned math concepts, but will also learn about the environment of space and what it takes to survive as a pioneer on Martian frontier.

Curiosity Games: Middle School Math is a virtual reality standards-aligned math adventure infused with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) subject matter and gaming to increase student engagement and learning outcomes for middle school students. Curiosity Games curriculum is designed around Cast’s Universal for Design Learning (UDL) guidelines. The purpose of our software is to create expert learners who are not only stellar mathematicians but are purposeful, motivated, resourceful, knowledgeable, strategic, competitive, and goal orientated.

For each topic, scholars work in a lab to build their conceptual understanding with evidence-based math practices. Once the scholar has mastered the concepts, they can compete in game-based standards aligned math skill practice. During conceptual and skill-based practice, teachers are able to generate live reports to compare and contrast student and classroom performance results. Students are also able to keep track of their own progress on their student dashboards.

Our Labs are free for students and teachers with ads, and we provide a paid version with no ads.

Virtual Reality is optional and is not required for Curiosity Games. If you choose to not use Virtual Reality, then Curiosity Games will work with a keyboard and mouse or USB game controller on Chromebook or PC. If you choose to use VR on Android, you will need a phone compatible with a Google Cardboard 2 or similar headset, and a compatible Bluetooth game controller.
