This small application will inform you about the dates of the main Orthodox holidays and fasts in 2022-2026 and remind you of these events IN ADVANCE through a notification.
For each day, the application has a link to go to the calendar of the ABC of Faith portal (azbyka.ru).

Reminder output time (in advance or not), as well as the types of events for a reminder, can be configured. To do this, go to "Notification settings" and check or uncheck the appropriate boxes.

You can scroll through the calendar month by month, and by clicking on the date of interest, you can see information about the selected day. It is also possible to view Great Holidays, Days of Special Commemoration of the Dead, multi-day fasts, continuous weeks in separate lists.

Note that this Orthodox calendar is not detailed. This is essentially an electronic version of a small palm-sized cardboard calendar, which contains only the most important things, namely:
• Easter, Great and Twelfth holidays;
• Some other holidays;
• Days of special commemoration of the dead;
• Multi-day fasts and individual fasting days;
• Solid weeks.
At the same time, there are only two types of fast days - a strict fast and a fast day, that is, there is no deepening into the monastic Rule.

The application does not contain ads. Its main functions (notifications and brief information about days) do not require an Internet connection. But if you want to know more about the day (and the presence of an Internet connection), you can click the link "This day on azbyka.ru" built into the description of each day and find countless treasures there.

To trigger notifications by default (at 7 a.m.), you need to open the apps at least once after installation.

If you are interested in receiving notifications from this Orthodox calendar, then you need to give all permissions to the application for this. That is, allow notifications, allow the application to auto-start. On some devices, you need to specifically allow the app not to save power. Unfortunately, different devices are configured differently.
