When you trying to Restore SMS(Messages) your phone OS (Operating System) will show an error that "You will not able to use some feature of Samsung (Here maybe you mobile brand name) application if you set Smart Backup & Restore instead of Messages as your default messaging application." Tip and Trick

Once you get backup of any category you backup will be save in smsContactsBackup to according folder in your phone or sdcard memory. We uploaded that screenshots about folders copy that backup file from relevant folder and save it some else (like in your computer or USB etc). If you phone need to complete format you will not lose backup files. Once if you want to get restore of that backup just keep that files in relevant folders that it.
