Meu LIVRO DIGITAL inaugurates the new phase of the sPED application, which is intended exclusively for the publication of “e-books” that were generated for viewing and access through this platform.

Intended only for tablets and smartphones, this app has a closed architecture that makes it possible to control and manage the distribution of books generated in the sPED standard, which provides greater integrity and protection for the publication of works in digital format. Does not work on computers or notebooks.
Therefore, digital books that use sPED can only be viewed through this application, and this distribution is coupled to a differentiated system that manages the rear (DRM specific to the developer).

To access My DIGITAL BOOK it is necessary to inform a valid CARD. When downloading a book, the user must enter his CARD - Digital Rescue Authorization Code, which must be previously passed on by the respective distributor or author.

Once this code is recognized, the "e-book" will be quickly incorporated into the virtual bookshelf (Library) of the application and, once downloaded, the digital book can be accessed at will without the need for connection.

We remind you that, at the time of download, a satisfactory internet connection is required.

CHARACTERISTICS AND INTEGRITY

The My Digital Book - sPED app, with practical and intuitive handling, offers several functionalities, such as touch screen magnification (zoom); viewing both vertically and horizontally, including on double pages; search for words and expressions; text annotations; control of screen brightness and bookmarking, in addition to providing a storage area for non-preferred works in the cloud (Repository), in order to free up space in the user's equipment memory.

Whoever uses this platform is surprised by the simplicity of operation and praises the application, which allows the user to download each digital book on up to two different devices using the same CARD, as long as both are linked to the same user's account, which also provides an eventual exchange of equipment.

To facilitate the understanding of its operation, the app also provides two e-books for free, shortly after installation: the Instructions Manual and "Os Lusíadas", by Luiz de Camões, as a model for tasting.

As it was developed only for digital books generated on this platform, it gives integrity to edited works and control of their distribution, providing access to works only to authorized users (who have a valid CARD).
