Audi connect services specially developed for the e-tron that enable the user to call up specific information and manage individual functions via smartphone and web portal.

Using a smartphone app and the A3 e-tron platform (etron.audiusa.com), data on the vehicle status can be called up on aspects such as the current level of charge, the electric range remaining and the vehicle location. Information on recent trips, such as the average electricity consumption, is also always readily accessible.

Starting the charging process and the climate control by smartphone app, either straight away or using the customisable departure time scheduler, makes sure the vehicle is fully charged and optimally pre-air conditioned for the time the driver wishes to set off – summer and winter alike.

The pre-air conditioning optimises the electric range because the energy needed to cool or heat the interior comes from the power socket, not from your vehicle battery.

Important information: For US customers please make sure that language is set to English (United States) in order to access vehicles from US market.
- added region and language selection to login screen
- French and Spanish language added for US vehicles
- optimized timer programming communication to vehicle
- changed server communication

For technical reasons the device registration will be prompted and needs to be followed after the update.

The update is required for continous service use as the old app version will cease to work after a reasonable update period.
