That people do not look back will not know your future.

The Feast of history recreated every year since 1989 when the School Workshop of St. Andrew decided to rescue an old celebration that preceded the biggest festivals of the Virgin of the Portal.

That celebration, called History of Pantomime according to local scholars and Samuel Leopoldo Meruéndano EIJAN, represented "a fact of the history of the Hebrew people" (Meruéndano) or "a historical fact chosen beforehand consisting usually a battle between one or other troops" ( S. EIJAN).

Was an effort to recover the people, and the people still accounts every year, counting for it with more than five hundred volunteers grouped from the disappearance of the Vocational School in St. Andrew neighborhood organization since 1991, now called the Feast of the Coordinator history, legally incorporated as an association in 1996, to form the foundation of the Party history in 1998.

This annual effort, not far represented only on the last Saturday of August, but throughout the year different activities are carried out by the organization in courses, competitions, workshops, presentations, etc., enabling year-round cultural event has life and is present among us.

Several recognitions for this festive event: in 1997 is declared of National Tourist Interest by the Central Government and the prize of the History Channel in 2000. A founding member of the Spanish Federation of Festivals and historical recreation, currently belonging also to the European Federation of Festivals historical.

A framework that legitimizes the work of the neighborhood, providing the stimulus needed to continue our work.
