Blackstone National Golf Club was conceived by Michael Gordon owner, and Rees Jones, world-renowned golf architect, back in 1997. Michael felt that hiring one of the best architects in the world was going to be key to the success of Blackstone. The concept was simple, to bring a classic, well designed golf course to the public. Most of the good golf courses where private, and the public ones of good quality were far and few between. We let Rees approve the site before it was purchased, when he saw the site and how big it was, 275 acres of rolling terrain, his eyes lit up and he said, let's build a golf course. Three years later the project was complete. We are celebrating our 15th year. We have been ranked in the top 10 public courses in Massachusetts by the reputable Golf week magazine. We are honored to be in that company. The course has multiple tees so players of all abilities can enjoy this wonderful golf course. A GPS yardage system is on all the golf carts, so your yardage is always accurate to the pin. Centrally located, Blackstone is in Sutton just off the Massachusetts turnpike. It is only 50 minutes from Boston, 15 minutes from Worcester, 30 minutes from providence, 55 minutes from Hartford.
