Step By Step Guide To Install e Supportive Supervision using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. To strengthen the supportive supervision and program related decisions emanating thereof, MoHFW envisaged to develop a software to capture the findings of supportive supervision visits to the health facilities, appropriate escalation of assigned actions to ensure timely mitigation and proposed plan of action.

The MoHFW, supported by BMGF, entrusted JSI to develop a software with the above mention objectives. In the first phase, the software was developed and demonstrated successfully before the top leadership of the MoHFW.

In another efforts Government of Assam supported by Unicef has developed an android based application, and the application also meets various objectives of supportive supervision activity.

Also, Government of Bihar, supported by CARE ( BMGF’s grantee) has developed a supportive supervision software. A detailed and comprehensive comparison is made in the subsequent section.

The MoHFW has now decided to go forward with one common application with different features and various functionalities. MoHFW will drive the activities supported by NHSRC, BMGF, JSI & IPE global.

This software is developed by SDRC (Siddha Development Research and Consultancy) which is a Bhubaneswar based company.
