In this post, I am going to show you how to install Practitioner Health on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Practitioner Health using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Practitioner Health" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

The NHS Practitioner Health Booking App is available only to patients registered with NHS Practitioner Health and will enable you to select clinicians and therapists, book appointments and to experience online video or phone assessment, treatment, and therapy. The app will show the profile and skills of the clinicians and therapists working within NHS Practitioner Health, and their current availability and will enable registered patients to take control of their recovery journey by selecting the clinician or therapist suited to their needs and arranging appointments slots to fit in with their own busy NHS or care schedules. The app includes a register of booked and previous appointments and provides the ability to change or cancel appointments and to message clinicians and therapist regarding administrative issues related to the appointments and treatment progress. Via the app you will also be able to access wellbeing assessment questionnaires and complete these, demonstrating your progress to recovery.

This app is free to download but only patients registered with NHS Practitioner Health will be able to access the services provided through the app. Registered patients will have been sent a login and password by the service. If you are registered with the service and have not received a login please contact us.
Please speak to your own GP practice or hospital about any arrangements they may have for online booking of appointments with alternate NHS services.
